Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of your son, Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit. We thank you for all your grace in our lives, for Immanuel Lutheran Church, and for the gifts you have given us.
We ask you to bless us with the wisdom of Solomon, the generosity of the Widow, the humbleness of the Publican, the commitment of Paul, and the compassion of the Good Samaritan.
Guide us to go forward in faith, that even with many obstacles, we may accomplish your will. Receive our gifts, forgive our shortcomings, and instill in us a vision to share your grace to grow in community. Help us to be your witnesses in all we do and constantly renew us in our passion for the Gospel; in Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
